Good to know

Utah uses HealthCare.gov for its ACA marketplace. Utah does not have a statewide paid family and medical leave insurance program. Utah housing choice vouchers are administered by local public housing agencies; the statewide emergency rental assistance program stopped accepting applications in 2023. State CHIP enrollment closed January 31, 2026, and current enrollees remain covered. Utah SUN Bucks will not be offered in summer 2027. Some listed programs are coordinated through local agencies, schools, or providers rather than a statewide resident application portal. SUN Bucks gave eligible school-age children summer food benefits in 2026, but Utah will not offer it in summer 2027.
