Good to know
Paid family and medical leave under FAMLI is a state program scheduled to begin paying benefits in 2028; the state employee leave program is separate. Maryland operates SUN Bucks in 2026 and has not opted out. Rental assistance and homelessness programs may be administered locally, so the listed state agency pages direct residents to local providers.
